Mike Hunting and Linda Johnston have , for a number of years, been promoting Audax Rides and other DATC events from Tavistock.

This year sees and entire range of rides from the Easy Family Fun 50Km, to the challenging Moor Like A 400Km ( 250 miles!)

Riders on th long events need to watch out for the Mad Buzzard of North Devon!

Tavistock is an attractive market town situated on the western edge of Dartmoor, and there is plenty to interest non-cyclists as well. There are three well appointed caravan/camp sites nearby, and several B&B's.

There is the option for free sleeping accomodation on the floor of the Scout Hall, where there is also ample parking.

The cycling weekend is also suitable for CTC members actively involved in DATC with a wide choice of events to choose from.
