There was plenty of weather on this years ride - a moderate dose of everthing!
Some drizzle, rain showers, misty bits, a blustery section, and some lovely autumn sunshine aswell.

FRUIT 'N VEG

THE 2007 DARTMOOR DEVIL

And so it was - once again a great congregation of brightly clad beings converged on the quiet town of Bovey Tracey, on a grey and clammy autumnal morning. The Cromwell was a warm musty hubbub of these beings, chatting, drinking coffee, signing in and generally constructing the great atmosphere that always surrounds this event. At 8am George Presland waved the Pumpkin flag and the first group set off up Hind Street, lungs rasping and cranks creaking, and after a couple of minutes they all disappeared into the morning gloom. At 9am Anna Presland dropped the flag and off when the second contingent set out smoothly at first, but then a crunch of chains and clunk of cleats saw several come to a halt and start, followed by curses and shouts as some wobbled to regain speed and failed.
