CTC
Tourist Trials are events over a fixed Course which have to be completed in
a specific time.
They are not races, and to that end there is also a minimum time limit to control
the maximum speed which should not be exceeded.
The general idea is to complete the event with an average speed of around 12.5
m.p.h,
the considered "Touring Average". Finishers are awarded a certificate
for the ride..
