" People say cyclists should have bells on their bicycles - well in Devon we fit Horns!!

There was plenty of weather on this years ride - a moderate dose of everthing!
Some drizzle, rain showers, misty bits, a blustery section, and some lovely autumn sunshine aswell.
- WELL DONE to all riders!!

The ride to Warren House was easy with a tail wind, but with a gattling gun for a front wheel I was having to really hold back on the descents. I rode with Chris Goddard and Graham Reed to Grimspound, and just after we had said cheerio to Pete & Jean the sun came out. It was a glorious run down past Grimspound and my ascent of Widecombe Hill was interrupted to take lot's of photos - and ditto at Haytor. Arriving at Kestor Inn, to where the hubbub from the Cromwell had transferred, even a little mustier maybe! Time to celebrate with a home made pasty. A huge thankyou to Kevin and the Devils Army, and congratulation to the 155 who finished successfully
(contrary to earlier press reports!). Oh and well done to Messr's Hennessey and Steer for 15 successive finishes! .
