2008 - the year it almost didn't happen. Ferry cancellation on 29th February meant the
trip was rebooked for 14th March. The original 47 were down to 36 when we finally
boarded at Millbay, but the best news was the weather.
As Devon & Cornwall were absorbing the mositure,
the light rain at the start soon cleared to a nice day with
a fair bit of sunshine, and a good tailwind in the afternoon.
