HANNINGTON
Child cycle trailer. (531)

 

 E.W.H. ( Reading). The Hannington trailer is an old design but probably better than anything you can buy today. WHY?
Because this trailer is made from Reynolds 531, and is essentialy the rear half of a normal bike, with a headset and bottom bracket using standard components.
It has it's own deraillieur with 5-speed Huret, and you could add a brake if required. The adjustment is huge so you can take a range of rider sizes. This on has small cranks fitted.
Included is a roof rack assembly so that it can be carried on roof bars.
Also the trailer hook up bracket fits onto an existing pannier rack system, and itself has pannier brackets so you can still fit them if needed. The set-up is designed for a touring bike, but included is a bracket which will also allow it to fit to a mountain bike, - ideally your frame will need pannier rack mounting bosses.
